It may seem like there’s little to cheer, but these leaders and activists can show us how to keep fighting the good fight in what promises to be a challenging 2024.

Wisconsin Democrats may be overplaying their hand on redistricting. Twice in the last few months Republicans have handed them what they’ve wanted and they turned them down in both cases.

But if legislative district maps need to be redrawn, so too do Wisconsin’s congressional district maps. Indeed, the congressional redraw is more urgent than the legislative fix.

Wisconsin’s Parental Choice Program, expanded statewide in 2013 after starting over 30 years ago in Milwaukee as the first program of its kind nationwide, has been a beacon of light for thousands who seek relief from the progressive mantra and control of the public school system.

Taxpayers should refuse to support any Right of First Refusal law or any politician who introduces one. If they don’t believe in competition for utility companies, maybe it’s time they face some competition in primary races to remind them who in Wisconsin they actually serve.
