Women in our state are keeping a wary eye on Texas.

According to our survey and focus groups, the vote swing among Milwaukee’s suburban women is not necessarily an endorsement of modern liberal ideology.

It may be Christmas week, but the Biden administration found it necessary to send warnings to nine states for the ruthless way they have been kicking kids in low-income families off Medicaid.

Over 100 places in Wisconsin have lost more than 20% of their population since 1990. This is the first of occasional profiles of persevering small towns in the Badger State.

During each of our eight years as governor and first lady of Wisconsin, Tonette and I hosted an evening at the Executive Residence to honor Gold Star families.

From our main streets to our interstates, rural and urban communities, and high-tech to handmade products, Wisconsin has had a big year. It’s our job to carry that momentum into next year, and the next — to keep looking forward with our sleeves rolled up.

These overused words and expressions have got to go.

We may not always agree on every policy but in general, Republicans – Conservatives – Patriots can agree. Take the wins as we can get them. It may be a little at a time or in big chunks but let’s stop the circular firing squad and don’t stay home helping to elect liberals.
