The urban-rural divide ranks as one of our nation’s biggest splits. Some tips to inspire goodwill this Christmas season.

When it was released in 1946, it was a box office failure that came under scrutiny by the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a subversive film that supposedly displayed evidence of Communist Party infiltration of the film industry.

The 6-lane alternatives are far cleaner and safer, as state analysis shows.

You would think the attempt to overturn a Presidential election would be enough for Spindell to lose his seat on the Wisconsin Elections Commission. Unfortunately, that is not the case.

The disparity between the Republican Party of Wisconsin and the conservative voter is growing at what seems to be an exponential rate.

Now, every other disabled group — the medically fragile, the physically disabled, the developmentally disabled, the frail elderly — qualifies for long-term care, but not the mentally ill. Why?

As we often do this time of year, my team and I are reviewing our performance and work for you in 2023. I am proud of everything we accomplished, the foundations that are set for 2024 and our ongoing service to the people of the 17th Senate District.

Perhaps our alders deserve a modest raise, but let’s not fall in the trap that would put the city on the road to a full-time City Council.
