In the aftermath of the disputed 2020 presidential elections, the thousands of local officials who administer U.S. elections have rightly received a lot of public attention and sympathy. Yet, their work administering elections would not be possible without an even larger number of volunteer poll workers.

How much mental decline Biden and Trump have suffered in their long tenure on this earth will – and should be – a matter of intense scrutiny in the ten months leading up to the election.

With the new law, Wisconsin companies will be able to recover more of their costs from other states making Wisconsin competitive to all other states. Michigan and Minnesota have already taken this step.

I am equally sure that with the nation seriously watching and demanding action on the border bill it would be political suicide for the GOP to whiff this time at bat as the reaction would be so loud that even ole Henry Clay would hear it in his eternal slumber.

Biden’s trip to Superior was a signal that he intends to fight for the votes of people in northwest Wisconsin, and that’s a big deal.

We are not losing elections in Wisconsin because of fraud. We are losing based on turnout.

We know there is a surge in hate activity and we know college campuses are being targeted. It doesn’t seem like some institutions are really paying enough attention to these trends and putting systems in place to inform the students and faculty, of potential threats before they show up at their campus door.

Parental choice and parental guidance are essential.

Pass Medicaid expansion, with $ billions of federal funding to increase inadequate Medicaid reimbursement rates to help struggling rural hospitals. A win for rural areas, help for small towns whose residents work for hospitals and coverage for 90,000 Wisconsinites (probably more).

Support for Senate Bill 1869, the Site-Based Invoicing and Transparency Enhancement (SITE) Act, will be critical in saving money and ending “dishonest billing” practices from corporate-owned hospitals.

The great inflation of 2021/22 appears to be over and better days might on the horizon.

Trump has become the Typhoid Mary of Broken Moral Compass syndrome.
