A strong record isn’t enough. You need big, bold ideas.

Johnson and many other wealthy people don’t think the impacts of climate change will touch them.

Pretty soon we’re going to need longer flag poles.

But only Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch got the whole deal right.

Republican lawmaker wants constitutional amendment to force future governors to share how future emergency aid is spent.

For all of its fanfare, the GOP has offered most state residents much less money than was advertised and in return required local governments to adopt a laundry list of undemocratic and regressive policies, items that would be easily vetoed if they were separate bills.

As we watch what has become a biennial spectacle of Republican lawmakers doing everything they can to make sure the state budget works for only a privileged few, I can’t help notice how much Scott Walker’s influence still grips the Legislature.

After decades of cheating, lying, swindling, and then following the 2020 presidential election acting with treasonous intent Donald Trump is soon to know what real legal jeopardy looks like.

Moore and Pocan did not casually or irresponsibly reject the agreement, as did so many of their Republican colleagues. Rather, they cast well-considered and morally grounded votes on behalf of a better vision for the United States.

The gay and trans community has every reason to hoist a flag this month, take to the streets in parades, and speak to the truth that our nation again needs to hear.

We encourage the State Legislature to give the people of the city and county of Milwaukee the opportunity to determine their future and that includes finally holding the policymakers accountable.

While legislators disagree on how to best address the problem, and lobbyists use their outsized resources to stop meaningful legislation from moving forward, private citizens, neighborhood groups, and local municipalities are taking measures into their own hands.

Wall Street Journal columnist and former Reagan speech writer Peggy Noonan suggested that, if Donald Trump wins a third nomination, the party will disintegrate.

Some have attacked Sarah for speaking out for democracy, suggesting she is acting out of ambition or opportunism. They could not be more wrong.

The criticism aimed at Secretary of State Sarah Godlewski is rooted in sexism.

The debate over whether states should elect Supreme Court justices like Wisconsin and 23 other states do, or appoint them like 26 states do, continues unabated.
