As a woman of faith and a legislator that knows we can work through most problems, in spite of all that we are facing as a nation, I can still smile. I welcome 2022 and wish each of you a Happy New Year!
The two largest school districts in Wisconsin have said for nearly two years that they are merely following guidelines from federal and state health and education authorities, but on Saturday night—less than 24 hours before Posley pulled the plug on a return to the classroom—Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona said unequivocally that school should not be virtual this winter.
Please get the facts and get vaccinated.
As we begin 2022, bidding good riddance to another awful year of political lies and deceit, we all better be resolved to do all we can do to save and rebuild American democracy.
Time for updates on some political leaders as we welcome 2022.

Good riddance to 2021, a year when the bad news far exceeded the good. A saving positive, however, to end the year came unexpectedly in the form of a sharply lower tax picture for Wisconsin taxpayers.
Progress was made in 2021 and some of it is profound. Here are just some examples.
