Representative Cori Bush is right in her read of the Constitution: Officials who give aid and comfort to insurrectionists must be removed from their positions.

We’re all just waking up to it.

I’m a Democrat and a liberal but I find the theory unconvincing and offensive.

Sen. Julian Bradley and Rep. Chuck Wichgers unveiled bills that would stop liberal prosecutors like Milwaukee County John Chisholm and restorative justice judges from setting low or no bail for repeat offenders.

Wisconsin wasn’t one of them.

30 states have increased the minimum wage, leaving Wisconsin ever further behind.

Republican State Rep. Timothy Ramthun’s bill would get rid of the Wisconsin Elections Commission by June 30, 2023, and would transfer all the Commission’s duties to the Secretary of State.

The county executive from the politically competitive Fox River Valley has run an incredibly disciplined and determined campaign so far — very much in the style of former U.S. Sen. Bill Proxmire’s successful bids in the 1950s and early 1960s.

Toney sought to expand the injustice rather than do away with it. Does that sound like someone we want running, of all things, the Department of Justice?

As a woman of faith and a legislator that knows we can work through most problems, in spite of all that we are facing as a nation, I can still smile. I welcome 2022 and wish each of you a Happy New Year!

The two largest school districts in Wisconsin have said for nearly two years that they are merely following guidelines from federal and state health and education authorities, but on Saturday night—less than 24 hours before Posley pulled the plug on a return to the classroom—Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona said unequivocally that school should not be virtual this winter.

Please get the facts and get vaccinated.

As we begin 2022, bidding good riddance to another awful year of political lies and deceit, we all better be resolved to do all we can do to save and rebuild American democracy.

Time for updates on some political leaders as we welcome 2022.
