Wisconsin’s experience casts serious doubt on the claim that draconian shutdowns successfully prevent COVID fatalities.

One thing is certain. No plan during a pandemic will offer every student a safe and excellent education.

State Department of Revenue figures show total lottery sales between March—when the state’s economy was locked down, mass layoffs and furloughs began, and we were told to stay home to “flatten” the COVID-19 curve—and June were up 12.3%.
