There are bold ways that Rothman and Gov. Evers could raise the kind of money they see as necessary for the health of the Universities system and earn back some trust.

A stronger alliance on trade and technology would benefit the U.S. while deterring China.

The truth is that this bill is just plain bad news for workers as currently written.

What is missing in our governmental process is Congress’s constitutional role in checking executive power, ensuring that policy decisions reflect broader national deliberations rather than abrupt, uneducated and ultimately dangerous unilateral presidential authority.

Earth has undergone its hottest decade on record. The years from 2015 to 2024 recorded the warmest temps in 200 years of record-keeping.

Nelson, former Wisconsin governor, U.S. senator and founder of Earth Day, was one of the two most important progressive leaders in the state’s history. The other was Robert M. “Fighting Bob” La Follette.

Few personalities have been more consequential and just damned interesting than Jonathan Barry.

Dismantling the UW System is akin to shooting oneself in the foot. Let’s use part of the $4 billion state surplus to fully fund the UW System, which serves the entire state.
