November 22 @ 9:45 am 5:00 pm

After Election Day, how do you make sense of the results? Join us in-person or virtually on Friday, November 22 to understand what happened and why.

The 2024 Election Symposium will bring together leading elections experts to dissect the key races, issues, and vote patterns across the country and Wisconsin’s crucial role as a battleground state.

Hear NPR White House Correspondent Franco Ordoñez reflect on takeaways from the presidential campaign trail, Marquette Law Poll Director Dr. Charles Franklin on Wisconsin’s polling and electoral results, and more at this biennial election symposium hosted by the Elections Research Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Registration is required for this all-day catered event, with options for attendees to join for select sessions or the full program. Complimentary boxed lunches are available via sign-up on the registration page. A livestream option is also available for those who are unable to attend in-person.

The Symposium will be held from 9:45am to 5pm at the DeLuca Forum inside the Discovery Building (330 N. Orchard St.), with doors open at 9:15am. The event is free and open to the public. Community members are encouraged to attend!

The Symposium Program and all other event details are available on our website at elections.wisc.edu/2024symposium and on the Eventbrite registration page.
