MICAH’s Religious Leaders Caucus will provide a prayerful presence at the Milwaukee Vote Count (Baird) Center on Election Day, beginning as Counters arrive for duty and continuing throughout the day.
The prayer is for democracy, the peaceful transition of power, a safe and peaceful voting and counting process. It is to demonstrate MICAH’s faith and confidence in our democratic processes.
When: Tuesday, November 5. 6:00am – 9:00pm
Where: Baird Center Entrance at 400 W. Wells Street and Vel Phillips Ave.
What: Interfaith Prayer Vigil
6:00am Gathering to be a supportive presence as Counters arrive.
7:00am Interfaith Prayer Vigil led by MICAH Religious Leaders
Faith leaders will hold prayerful spacethere all day. A Faith Leader will offer a prayer at the beginning of each hour, and, joined by others, will serve as a faithful, prayerful presence for the rest of the hour. Other prayer teams will continue until 9:00pm.

Milwaukee Innercity Congregations Allied for Hope is a multi-racial, interfaith organization committed to justice issues of greatest importance to Milwaukee area residents.
