Madison, WI – Rep. Scott Allen (R-Waukesha) is excited to announce, along with Sen. Bradley (R-New Berlin) and Rep. Taylor (D-Milwaukee), an upcoming screening, in honor of Black History Month, of the Joshua Glover short film created by Michael Jahr.
“A major event in the abolition movement happened in Milwaukee in 1854. This film is a great way to learn more,” said Rep. Allen.
This short documentary film will be shown in 412 E of the Capitol on February 25th from 1:30-2:30PM. The screening will also feature insights into the film from producer/director Michael Jahr. There will be a chance for questions to be asked about Joshua Glover’s extraordinary life.
