The March 30 breakfast starts at 8 a.m. with the program going from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The location is room 285 of the Hall of the States on Capitol Hill, 444 N. Capitol St. NW.

Pocan will be interviewed by Spectrum News’ Taurean Small for the first part of the program. The second part of the program will feature a discussion on federal dollars boosting Wisconsin-based research.

Panelists include:

Stephanie Diem, assistant professor, UW-Madison Department of Engineering Physics, and principal investigator for the Pegasus-III fusion energy experiment;

Michele Polfuss, associate professor, UW-Milwaukee College of Nursing, and joint research chair in the nursing of children; and

Jacob J. Capin, assistant professor, Marquette University Department of Physical Therapy, and director, Life After Sport Trajectories (LAST) Lab.

The cost of the breakfast is $19 per person.
