Hear from experts in clean energy and future technology to highlight how Wisconsin and its businesses and employees can maximize new federal funding.

Keynote speaker is Justin Worland, a Washington D.C.-based senior correspondent for TIME covering climate change and the intersection of policy, politics and society. He has covered the topic since 2015.

Previously, he covered health and breaking news at TIME. In 2022, Worland was named the inaugural Climate Journalist of the Year by Covering Climate Now, a non-profit launched by the Columbia Journalism Review and others to advance climate journalism. He serves as a founding steering committee member at the Uproot Project, a non-profit that works to diversify environmental journalism. Justin is a term member at the Council on Foreign Relations and a graduate of Harvard College, where he studied history.

A panel, moderated by “UpFront” co-host Gerron Jordan, is to follow with:

Chuck McGinnis, Johnson Controls Inc. senior executive in the energy services industry;

Randy Satterfield, clean energy consultant and former transmission company executive who works with organizations like Next Gen Highways and renewable developers; and

Maria Redmond, director, Wisconsin Office of Sustainability and Clean Energy.
