A federal judge has struck down the so-called “cocaine mom” law in the state that let officials detain pregnant women who abuse alcohol or drugs. U.S. District Judge James Peterson found on Friday that the 1998 law is “void for vagueness,” ruling the state is blocked from enforcing it statewide.
