MADISON, WI – Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin made the following statement about the announcement that the Badger State ended its last fiscal year with a $579 million surplus.

AFP-WI State Director Eric Bott made the following statement:

“Wisconsin’s economy is growing thanks to the lower taxes, regulatory reforms, and good government championed by Governor Walker throughout his time in office. By doubling down on pro-growth economic policies, government revenues are up. Governor Walker has engineered another massive budget surplus. AFP-WI’s base of over 130,000 activists gives him tremendous credit for this surplus and sees it as further proof that pro-growth reforms really are the best way to help Wisconsinites achieve prosperity.”
