U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin’s campaign has notified the FEC it will refund excess donations it received during the last reporting period and amend its second quarter report to correct data entry errors that incorrectly showed donations above the allowable limits.
Baldwin’s campaign wrote to the FEC last week the returned contributions will be disclosed on its next report, which is due next month.
