MILWAUKEE – Judge Rebecca Dallet has now earned support from more than 300 elected leaders and judges from across Wisconsin in her campaign for Wisconsin Supreme Court.
“I am honored to have earned the support from every corner of our state. These individuals represent millions of Wisconsinites, and they are trusting me with the great responsibility of getting our Supreme Court back on track,” said Judge Rebecca Dallet. “I’m the only candidate in this race that is addressing the real issue here — which is the need to remove partisan politics from our courtrooms, so we can have a more fair and just system for everyone.”
“Momentum is on our side. Today’s announcement is a testament to the fact that people want to see someone with Judge Dallet’s experience and understanding of the issues serve on our Supreme Court,” said Campaign Manager Jessica Lovejoy. “People respect the fact that she is a judge with more than 23 years of experience in our courtrooms — and not a politician.”
Rebecca Dallet is a mom, an experienced attorney, and a judge. She has served on the Circuit Court bench for almost ten years and worked as a prosecutor for more than a decade prior to that. During her career, Dallet worked to put sexual predators behind bars, and prosecuted drug, gun, and violent crime cases. She has served as the presiding judge in domestic violence and misdemeanor court, and presided over serious felony, homicide and drug courts, as well as civil court.
With the support of local leaders, elected officials, and judges from across the state, Judge Dallet plans to help restore the independence of the Supreme Court. She believes in fair and impartial courts that interpret and uphold the law in an independent, fair, and balanced manner.
