-- Dem guv candidate Dana Wachs says the state's youth prisons should be closed.
Wachs, a Dem state rep from Eau Claire, said in a statement last night those incarcerated at the Lincoln Hills School for Boys and the Copper Lake School for Girls need "a new solution." He says that solution should protect "the rights of the children we lock up and the dedicated employees who teach, guard, and care for these youth."
