Kaukauna – Governor Scott Walker promoted his proposed $649 million increase for Wisconsin K-12 schools today at Freedom Middle and High School today. The Governor’s budget proposal also lifts K-12 investments to $11.5 billion over two years, an all-time high.

“It was great to speak with Freedom Middle and High School students and teachers today about what our historic budget investments in K-12 education means for them and their school district,” Governor Walker said. “The bottom line is we’re making student success a top priority. When we invest in our students today, we’re also investing in Wisconsin’s workforce of tomorrow. That’s a win-win in our book.”
