MADISON – Governor Scott Walker announced today that he is seeking applicants for appointment as sheriff in Sheboygan County.

The appointment will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Sheriff Todd Priebe. The new sheriff will begin serving January 3, 2018, and will complete a term ending January 6, 2019.

An applicant is not required to reside in Sheboygan County at the time the appointment becomes effective.
