The holiday season is one of my favorite times of year: a time when family and friends gather together to enjoy each other’s company, celebrate the many blessings in our lives throughout the year, give of ourselves to each other, and look to the future with hope and excitement.
So, while you gather around the tree this year with those you love the most, I encourage you to reflect on the message behind the birth of our Savior, which holds true not just for Christians, but for Americans of all backgrounds.
There’s so much more that unites us than divides us, and we must all do our part to reach out to help one another, to forgive one another, and to love one another.
