Balsam Lake, Wisconsin — Representative Adam Jarchow (R-Balsam Lake) released the following statement after winning the Republican primary in the 10th Senate District special election:
“Thank you to the voters of the 10th Senate District for the honor to run as the Republican candidate to fill Shelia Harsdorf’s senate seat. Senator Harsdorf has served the people of Western Wisconsin well and I hope to carry on the tradition.
“I commend my opponent, Shannon Zimmerman. It was a spirited race and the voters had a tough decision. I am thankful to have his support in the general election.“Finally, I need to thank my family for supporting me through this election. Running for public office is not an easy task and I could not have done it without them behind me. Also, a big thank you to the numerous volunteers, my campaign staff, and everyone who helped me win. I could not have done it without you!”
