[Madison, WI] State Representative Dale Kooyenga (R-Brookfield) announced today that he
is running for the Wisconsin State Senate.
Representative Kooyenga is a citizen soldier, a Certified Public Accountant, husband and a
father of four. He currently is serving the 14th Assembly District of Wisconsin. While in
office, Representative Kooyenga has championed tax and school reform. His efforts have
directly led to a 6 year tuition freeze and lower taxes and a simpler tax code. He believes in
purpose driven leadership, and works tirelessly to advance the cause of individual liberty,
economic freedom, and personal responsibility.
“It’s been an honor to serve the residents of Wauwatosa, Brookfield and Milwaukee. In my
first term, prior to redistricting, I also had the honor of serving West Allis and Elm Grove. I
look forward to serving them again in the state senate, said Kooyenga. “The principles I will
fight for remain consistent – lower and fairer taxes, better education for all Wisconsin
students, expanded economic opportunities for Wisconsin’s workers and governmental
accountability.”
