Major Focus: In recognition of major gifts from the TGT Charity, Inc. and the New American Policy Institute, Madison College will name the Health Simulation Center at the Truax Campus in honor of Tommy G. Thompson, former Wisconsin governor and Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Of note: The TGT Charity, Inc. raised funds to create the Tommy G. Thompson Endowed Healthcare Scholarship, which will provide scholarships for health care students in perpetuity. This gift commemorates the 30th anniversary of the beginning of Governor Thompson’s first term.
