MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Supervisor Dan Sebring released the following statement today, in recognition of the anniversary of September 11, 2001.

“Today, September 11th, is not only a day of remembrance for all those who have lost their lives on this infamous day.

“On this day 16 years ago, at the World Trade center, the Pentagon, American Airlines Flight 11, United Airlines Flight 175, American Airlines Flight 77, and United Airlines Flight 93 (“Let’s Roll” Stonycreek Township, PA) we lost a total of 2,978 innocent lives.

“We honor and pray for the families left behind.

“We give thanks to all those who risked their lives that day and all the days that followed to help those caught in the crossfire of this vicious attack.”
