JANESVILLE, WI – Today, Cathy Myers released a new video as she continues her fight to take on Paul Ryan in Wisconsin’s 1st District. In the video, Myers discusses her record of standing up for those who need a voice, dedication to the community and passion for motorcycles.
Cathy Myers, a two-term elected official, is emerging as the progressive choice to replace Paul Ryan. Her new video comes as momentum continues to build following the endorsement of 20 local elected officials in southeastern Wisconsin.
“I don’t necessarily go out looking for a fight, but I won’t back down from one either,” said Myers.
Standing up for what’s right – no matter the consequences – has been the focus of Myers’ campaign, and her life’s work. That’s why she’s proud to release a video about her story, and the people that have shaped it.

Cathy Myers is a single mother of two, a 23-year veteran high school English teacher, and a candidate for Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District. Her career started at the age of 10 when she started working at her family-owned truck stop.
