Ladysmith, Wisconsin – Today, the Natural Resource Development Association’s Executive Director, Nathan Conrad, released the following statement on the Senate Committee on Sporting Heritage, Mining, and Forestry’s public hearing on SB 395, the Mining for America Act:
“Today, the people of Wisconsin heard about the enormous benefits that mining in the Badger State would bring. The experts on hand clearly showed that the sound development of our state’s natural resources can, and will provide family-sustaining jobs throughout Northern Wisconsin, while maintaining our pristine landscapes. The Natural Resource Development Association applauds Senator Tiffany and the rest of the committee for bringing this discussion to the people of Wisconsin and looks forward to the swift passage of this measure to help ensure environmentally conscious economic development for generations to come.”
