Keith Gilkes’ latest venture couples advocacy with public affairs and corporate communication strategies
[Madison, Wis.] – Today, Platform Communications, a public affairs, community advocacy and communications strategy firm officially launched in Madison Wisconsin. Founded in early 2017 by Keith Gilkes, a long-time advisor to Governor Scott Walker and countless high-profile officials and projects in the state of Wisconsin, Platform Communications strives to help bridge the gap of understanding between stakeholders on issues and projects impacting our communities.
“Having spent a large portion of my career in and around the halls of government, it became increasingly clear that there is a divide between corporate, government, and community understanding of the issues that matter,” said Keith Gilkes, President and CEO of Platform Communications. “It is the goal of my firm, and my team, to bridge that gap and help open a dialogue between decision makers and those they represent.”
