MADISON, WI – Pam Porter today announced her campaign for Dane County Board Supervisor in District 6, on Madison’s east side. She brings decades of experience as a non-profit leader, social justice advocate, and committed environmentalist to the Dane County Board. She and her wife, Mare Chapman, have lived in the district for 30 years.

Already, Pam has received support from hundreds of neighbors and key progressive leaders who have worked with her. As a former aide to County Executive Kathleen Falk, Pam understands Dane County government and is prepared to serve. She has also served as Executive Director for Clean Wisconsin, the state’s largest environment organization. Currently, Pam is a research manager at the University of Wisconsin, Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems.

“I love our community and have spent my life building grassroots movements that win real improvements in people’s lives. Our District needs a leader who shares our progressive values, will fight for those values, and who has the experience and knowledge to get things done,” said Pam Porter, proven progressive. “Please join our campaign.”
