Interchange construction schedule for late April to December 2017

A public involvement meeting will occur on Tuesday, April 18 to discuss the planned construction schedule and staging for this year’s I-39/90 and County N interchange (Exit 147) project, north of Stoughton. The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Stoughton High School cafeteria, 600 Lincoln Avenue, Stoughton, WI 53589. A brief presentation will be held at 5:30 p.m.

As part of the I-39/90 Expansion Project, the I-39/90 and County N interchange (Exit 147) will be reconstructed to feature three roundabouts to improve safety and mobility in the area. Work on the new interchange will begin in late April, and is scheduled to be completed in early December 2017. Interstate expansion near the interchange will also start this fall and be completed in fall 2018.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting and ask questions regarding this project. Maps showing the proposed improvements will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
