Kenosha, Wisconsin—Today, Sen. Chris Larson, Sen. Bob Wirch, Rep. Tod Ohnstad, Rep. Christine Sinicki, Rep. JoCasta Zamarripa, and Rep. David Crowley all endorsed Randy Bryce against Paul Ryan in the race for Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District.

“Wisconsin’s working families deserve respect,” said Rep. Ohnstad. “In the state legislature, we take very seriously our commitment to our community and we work hard to maintain a relationship with our constituents. I can tell you first-hand, Paul Ryan has been totally absent. He spends his days pushing Trump’s harmful agenda, and his constituents don’t get any explanation. It’s time to repeal Paul Ryan and replace him with Randy Bryce.”

“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of these progressive leaders,” said Bryce. “We are all in this fight together for a stronger America, and these legislators set the example for being accessible to their constituents and working for better policy.”

These state legislators represent portions of Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District or their districts closely border it. They have played significant public roles in the fight for progressive values and against Governor Scott Walker. Their endorsements come on the heels of Randy Bryce’s campaign launch just three weeks ago, which has won over hearts and minds across the nation.

Randy Bryce is a lifelong resident of southeastern Wisconsin. He is an ironworker, veteran, cancer survivor, and caring father. His insurgent campaign announced last week that it had raised more than $430,000 in just 12 days, with an average contribution amount of about $25.
