MADISON – Today, Assembly Democratic Leader Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh) appointed Representative Chris Taylor (D-Madison) to the Legislature’s powerful Joint Committee on Finance (JFC).
“I am very pleased to appoint Rep. Taylor to the Joint Committee on Finance, where I know she will be a fierce and articulate advocate for Democratic values,” Rep. Hintz said. “Serving with Rep. Taylor on the Joint Finance Committee during the 2015-17 budget was one of the most rewarding experiences of my time in the Legislature. Rep. Taylor understands the importance of our state’s investment in future economic opportunity by supporting our public schools, small businesses, universities, and public infrastructure. Her leadership on the Joint Finance Committee will be a great asset for our caucus and the state as a whole.”
Rep. Taylor joins Rep. Katrina Shankland (D-Stevens Point) from the Assembly Democratic caucus.
