Madison – State Representative Dale Kooyenga (R-Brookfield) released the following statement regarding the Governor’s 2017-19 budget recommendations:
“Wisconsin has come a long way over the last six years under the leadership of Governor Walker and the Republican legislature. Our income taxes and property taxes are lower and education outputs have vastly improved. The Governor is putting resources into education in our state to make sure outputs like graduation rates and test scores continue to increase.
I look forward to meeting with and listening to constituents and stakeholders in my district and across Wisconsin to gain feedback on the Governor’s 2017-19 budget recommendations. This appears to be a good starting point for another strong budget to move Wisconsin forward.”
