Madison— Today State Representative Adam Neylon (R-Pewaukee) issued the following statement in response to the passage of Senate Bill 15 on the Assembly Floor:
“I am thrilled to announce that Senate Bill 15, also known as the REINS Act, has passed the Assembly, and is headed to Governor Walker’s desk. This type of administrative rulemaking reform is the 1st of its kind in the country, and I hope other states use it as a model.
“This bill empowers taxpayers and provides important checks and balances. Elected legislators in this state now have the necessary oversight of agency rules that impact Wisconsin citizens and businesses in every corner of the state.
“Once again, Wisconsin, under Republican leadership, continues to be a national leader in reforming government.”
