Madison — On Thursday morning, the Senate Labor and Regulatory Reform Committee will hold a hearing on SB 275, an anti-immigrant bill aimed at creating a culture of fear and further liming local control for Wisconsin towns and cities.

“This bill is just another attack on our state’s immigrants. Since our state was founded, immigrants have been a vital part of our state’s economy and character. Legislative Republicans are trying to score cheap political points at the expense of people who work hard for their families and the state they call home.”

“Please, if this issue is important to you and your community, join in with other concerned Wisconsinites and make your voice heard at the public hearing. The hearing will take place at the State Capitol in room 412 East, Thursday, October 12 at 9:30 a.m.”
