A Hiring Event (Job Fair) is set for Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. at the Rock County
Job Center, 1900 Center Ave., Janesville. As of October 27, there were 50 employers registered, offering
over 1,200 job openings.
The event is free and open to the public. For better chances of success, those attending are
urged to research employers prior to the event, prepare yourself for your introduction when meeting
the potential employer, and to dress appropriately, along with bringing your resume and completing
applications online prior to the event. Those needing help in creating or editing their resumes or printing
it can come to the Resource Room at the Rock County Job Center.
