WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) said this Thursday after the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted to repeal the Obama administration’s burdensome Title II regulations:

“‘Net neutrality’ is a clever marketing slogan, but it was used to create terrible policy that reduced the broadband investments necessary to improve access for rural Wisconsinites. The FCC made the right decision to roll back the Obama administration’s overreach, and I am confident that the internet will continue to flourish under the same regulatory principles supported on a bipartisan basis since the Clinton administration.”
