A super PAC backing Senate Dems today announced a more than $1 million TV and digital ad campaign that says U.S. Sen Tammy Baldwin’s tax votes “put Wisconsin families first.”

The buy comes on the heels of the Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce pumping $1.6 million into a campaign that accused Baldwin, D-Madison, of voting for $5 trillion in tax hikes.

The Senate Majority PAC ad opens with the narrator saying there’s a “reason out of state billionaires are smearing” Baldwin because, “They’re protecting the rigged system that only works for them. This time, they want a new Republican tax plan that benefits the top one percent — but leaves Wisconsin behind.”

Baldwin, the narrator says, has voted to cut taxes for the middle class more than 50 times.

“Tammy Baldwin: Putting Wisconsin families first,” the narrator says to close the spot.
