With the impasse over the state budget passing the two-week mark, Senate Republicans announced they will release their own proposal Tuesday.
A spokeswoman for Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, R-Juneau, said the document was still being drafted by the Legislative Fiscal Bureau and declined to release details.
Fitzgerald will be joined by JFC Co-chair Alberta Darling, R-River Hills, and Senate President Roger Roth, R-Appleton, at Tuesday's announcement.
The new fiscal year began July 1, though state operations continue under the old spending limits.
