Madison, WI – The South Central Federation of Labor’s Committee on Political Education (COPE) will hold its 58th Annual Bean Feed, the Federation’s annual fundraising event for its political education program, on Wednesday, May 17 from 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM. The Bean Feed will take place at the Madison Labor Temple (1602 S. Park Street) in Room 201.
One $5 ticket buys all the hot dogs, baked beans, and sides you can eat, along with one soda or beer. Vegetarian options are available. There are no speeches and no program, just a good meal and a chance to meet community members and elected officials.
“SCFL’s Annual Bean Feed is a longtime tradition at the Labor Temple,” said SCFL President Kevin Gundlach. “Folks get a good meal while helping us raise money to support our political education activities. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the company of friends and talk to elected officials about issues important to you.”
Tickets will be available for sale at the door. All are welcome.
