Milwaukee- Sparkle Ashley, candidate for Milwaukee County Supervisor District 18,
proudly announces the endorsement of her campaign by Milwaukee Alderman Cavalier
Johnson.
“Sparkle Ashley has proven to me and numerous neighbors her work ethic and
leadership skills. Right now, the legislative and executive branches of Milwaukee
County need to work together solve some of our most pressing issues. One of the
developments we need in Milwaukee is Regional Transit Authority, which is part of
Sparkle’s platform. I gladly endorse her and look forward to helping elect her in the
coming months,” noted Alderman Johnson.
“I am honored to have the support of my Alderperson, Cavalier Johnson. He has shown
real leadership on Milwaukee’s common council. I look forward to working with him as
an elected official,” commented Sparkle following the endorsement.
Sparkle was born and raised in Milwaukee. She is a social worker who is committed to
public service her entire life. She has been a Girl Scout, a member of the National
Honors Society, and holds both a bachelors and graduate degree. Sparkle is happily
married, and works as the Director of Social Services at the Bridges of Milwaukee
Rehab and Care center. The primary election is February 20th, 2018 and the general
election is April 3rd, 2018.
