In three months, Ryan raises $16.4 million for the NRCC
Washington, D.C. – House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) announced that he will transfer $7 million to the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) to end the month of March. This monthly sum is a record for any Republican Speaker of the House and brings Ryan’s total transfers to the NRCC to $16.4 million in 2017.
The House campaign arm – fueled by Ryan’s strong backing – is off to a record breaking start to the year. As the leader of the House Republican Conference, Speaker Ryan is proud to do his part in supporting his colleagues. U.S. Rep. Steve Stivers, the NRCC Chairman, has been relentless and already has the committee in great shape. Since becoming Speaker in late 2015, Ryan has sent close to $60 million to the committee.
