“It was a privilege to host His Majesty and Queen Rania at the Capitol today. Jordan continues to be a critical ally in the Middle East, and today we discussed shared, ongoing efforts to defeat ISIS and other radical Islamist extremism. Our alliance is as strong as ever, and America has a true friend in King Abdullah. We remain committed to aiding Jordan’s security, and we will look to increase our support for stability in the Kingdom.”
