MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN — On Friday, December 8th, a jogger disturbing images were posted to social media of a Confederate flag and KKK stickers on the lunchbox of a worker doing sewer repairs at the corner of 25th and Wells in Milwaukee. Following an outcry the Alderman for the neighborhood revealed that the workers were employed by a suburban contractor called American Sewer Services, which weeks ago was the target of a similar outcry after photos were taken of their employees working in inner city Milwaukee at 19th and Meineke openly carrying handguns. Milwaukee civil rights organizations will hold a press conference Monday at City Hall to respond to the new photos.
