Vos expects to sign off on budget tomorrow

Assembly Speaker Robin Vos said he expressed frustration to Scott Walker that the guv enabled three senators to hijack the budget by promising them vetoes in exchange for their support.

Still, the speaker said he expects to sign off on the budget tomorrow, a step needed before Walker can add his signature and wrap up a two-year budget that is now more than 11 weeks late.

"I just think the hijacking of the process and the way these three guys did it has done harm to the institution, and I think we're going to regret it two years from now," Vos said in a phone interview.
