Wis. Syrian refugee sues Trump administration

An unnamed Syrian refugee currently living in Wisconsin is suing the Trump administration over its immigration executive order, saying his wife and 3-year-old daughter “remain trapped in Syria” and their lives are in danger.
The man, a Sunni Muslim, arrived in the United States in 2014 and got asylum status last year after being “extorted, falsely imprisoned and tortured” in Syria. The petition for his wife and daughter is pending, though Trump’s executive order bans Syrian refugees from entering the country indefinitely.
