What: Fighting Hunger Together Walmart State Giving event. Check presentations ($360,000) to 7 WI nonprofits fighting hunger from Walmart Foundation State Giving Program, as well as a volunteer food packing event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Join us for a special event at Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, to support and celebrate hunger organizations in Wisconsin so critical to helping our friends and neighbors fight food insecurity as we head into the holiday season.
Our Wisconsin Fighting Hunger event is Wednesday, Nov. 1 at Feeding Wisconsin of Eastern Wisconsin, with special guest Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch.
Seven Wisconsin organizations will be receiving grants from the Walmart Foundation for work they are doing to fight hunger – a total of $360,000 in grants to organizations that will join us next Wednesday for this event. From Dodgeville, to Stevens Point, to Ashland, Green Bay, Madison, Waukesha and Milwaukee (see the list below) – we are proud to support the work these organizations are doing!
