Lake Geneva, Wis. – Black Point Estate and Gardens will once again be hosting the summer series “Beer Barons of Lake Geneva Beer Cruise”.  Guests can enjoy an early summer evening learning about the history of beer barons that lived and vacationed along the shores of Geneva Lake.  This special event includes a boat cruise, program, and tour of Black Point Estate and Gardens.
“We’re excited to have this program back for another summer,” said David Desimone, site director of Black Point Estate and Gardens.  “This event allows guests to experience how the Chicago beer baron’s success was reflected in their homes and lifestyle.  We are looking forward to sharing this history and a cold brew with guests this summer.”
The presenter of this program will be Michael Rehberg, lead interpreter at Black Point Estate and Gardens, and historic brewery expert. The program will highlight the evolution of the brewing industry in Milwaukee and Chicago with a local flavor. Guests will be able to sample beers from the local brewery, Geneva Lakes Brewing Company.  The program will take place from 5:30 – 8:30pm on the following dates:
  • Friday, June 23, 2017
  • Friday, July 21, 2017
  • Friday, August 18, 2017
