Electrification to Reduce Emissions? (Or are we digging a deeper hole?)

Increase our dependence on electricity to reduce emissions? This may seem counter-intuitive–until you think about how renewables and end uses like electric vehicles and other equipment can fit into a new power dispatch plan. While EVs may be the first big market to reduce emissions in the transportation sector we will examine other options for supporting renewable power.
